Family Portrait Session
On-Location Session fee is $200, which includes time and travel up to 30 miles from the Cape Cod Canal and a print credit. Outdoor sessions are scheduled about 1 hour before sunset (or if you're an early riser, sunrise is a wonderful time, too!). Your session will generally last about 1 hour. Please call 508-335-2369 to reserve your session time. The session fee is payable in advance by credit card; in the case of inclement weather, every effort will be made to reschedule at a mutually convenient time. If this is not possible, the full session fee will be refunded. A rain date can be scheduled for an additional $100, which will be credited to your order over $1000.

Weather
We all know the weather in New England and Cape Cod is unpredictable, and beach conditions can be drastically different than the weather at your house. I will be in touch with you the day before and the day of your session to discuss weather concerns. Usually only excessive wind or rainy days will be cause for rescheduling.

I respectfully request family members do not use cameras during the session. I will need everyone's full attention during the session and other cameras could be distracting, especially to the younger children and to pets. Please make sure that everyone involved in the portrait is informed of this policy.

Viewing Your Portraits
For your convenience, your viewing session can be scheduled at the time of your session reservation, or at the time of the portrait session, and will take place in your home or other mutually-convenient location.
This is also the time that you will place your order.
Your portraits will either be projected large on a wall, or viewed on my computer, depending on space available. This is important as I can show you different versions of your portraits (such as Black & White and cropping), discuss retouching options and enhancements, and help you decide which images will be suitable for the products you are purchasing. Your time is needed to plan your portrait investment, so plan on an hour or two. All those wishing to purchase portraits and involved in the decision-making process must be at the viewing session.
Once you place your initial order, upon request I can upload your previews into a gallery to share with friends and family, who will be able to order their own prints a la carte directly from the website if desired. For out-of-state clients on the Cape for only a short time, web-only previews are available.
