This was a fun session! Emma spends the summer in Falmouth so we went to New Silver Beach (near her summer home) for her senior portraits. I love going to new places and finding new and exciting inspiration.  It was a bit windy but Emma had the perfect ‘wind-blown hair’ look!  Isn’t there always a fan blowing on model shoots?

A couple of days after her session, Emma went to Spain with her local church youth group. Such a great opportunity! I hope you had a blast, Emma!

Bailey came down from Walpole for her senior portraits at the beach.  She goes to St. Mary’s and has to go to another photographer for the yearbook picture, but wanted really awesome photos, more than the yearbook photographer could provide, to capture her as she enters her senior year of high school.

As you can probably tell she plays soccer (Goalie!!)  for a club team – year round – outside!  Yes – soccer in the snow!  Who knew that existed?   When she’s not playing soccer for her club team or for St. Mary’s, she’s hanging out on Facebook and listening to Taylor Swift.  She plans on going to Northeastern to study business.

Victoria was so looking forward to her senior pics. She called me and was worried about the weather for her date and wanted to  move it up a day.  I just love that!  I told her not to worry – it would be fine!  We actually had a gorgeous day at the beach. The sun was filtered through colorful clouds, there was no wind, the tide was going out, the water was like glass and we pretty much had the beach to ourselves. Gorgeous photos can be made even if it’s not a blue-sky sunny day!

Victoria is such a Cape Cod beach girl. I think she’s a shoo-in for the ‘best tan’ award this senior portrait season, for sure!  She is shortstop on the Hopedale Varsity softball team, and is thinking about going into pharmaceutical sales.  She’s going places, for sure!

I’ve got a special place in my heart for my clients from Holbrook.  They’ve been coming back to me, and recommending me,  to their friends and family for a few years now.  I am so appreciative of that.  Callie’s family is one of them (and started it all).  I photographed her big sister Crystal three years ago (I can’t believe it’s been that long  – still seems like just last summer).  I also entered one of Crystal’s images into my state and regional photographic competition.

So I was looking forward to meeting and photographing Callie.  Her mom, Sue, said they looked  a lot alike.  They both have blonde hair and amazing green eyes.  But this day was Callie’s day – and she certainly shined! I loved photographing her sweet smile.  Thank you for coming down to Scusset Beach again!

Here’s a sneak peek of Jackie – she’s going to be a senior at Blue Hills Tech, where she is in the Graphics program.  She likes to design T-Shirts!  Oh and she also plays soccer. 

We had a perfect day for her senior pictures!  She brought lots of outfits and she had a blast being a model for a day! Her school uses one of those generic ‘school photographers’ for the yearbook pictures, but she came to the beach for the pictures that she really wants to remember her senior year by, and for giving out to family and friends.  Isn’t she gorgeous?

Take a look at this gorgeous family!  I photographed Maritza‘s senior portrait a couple of years ago and they came back this year for me to photograph Daniel’s senior portraits and a family group at the same time.  They are so photogenic and I love Maritza and Donna’s blue blouses!

Aidan and her mom traveled all the way from Jefferson, MA, to Dennis so Aidan could be photographed at the beach near her grandparent’s house.  Crazy thunderstorms blew through and postponed the original date and we had hazy, hot and humid weather for Aidan’s session.  It’s my favorite weather! I love the way the haze softens the sunlight.  The beach was still busy at 7pm because of the heat, too!

Aidan is an Irish Step Dancer and smiled a lot when her mom mentioned winning an international step dancing competition.  She also has an artistic side and loves to draw with charcoals.

She was naturally graceful in front of the camera (and I loved her hair) – I also loved every single image I took of her.  Here’s a few of my favorites:

Sooo-cute Michaela came down from Pembroke to Scusset Beach for her senior portraits.  It was an absolutely gorgeous evening!  Michaela’s dad says she’s a track star – her best events are the 100 and 400.  Michaela seems a bit shy but she can’t help but smile!  Here’s a few pics from her mini beach session!

Jordan and her family have a summer home in Chatham on Cape Cod so I met them at their house to photograph both Jordan and her family. They have a beautiful back yard with hydrangeas and a picture-perfect front porch. The blue hydrangeas were a gorgeous background to bring out Jordan’s gorgeous blue eyes. We also went down to the beach for more photos  – we are on Cape Cod, after all!

Jordan is a senior at Hopkinton High School this fall and she plays soccer and runs track.  She describes herself as ‘patient’ and ‘giving’.  I can certainly vouch for the ‘patience’ as we had to deal with those ‘no-see-um’ bugs while at the beach – they were all around us but as you can see in her pictures below – Jordan just kept smiling! 

Laura spends a lot of the summer in Mashpee so of course she had to have senior pictures at the beach on Cape Cod! She plays Field Hockey at Ashland High School and likes Country music. And she’s just adorable and gorgeous at the same time.
Laura’s mother came along  and my assistant said afterwards, “they were just the cutest mother & daughter!” – and I have to agree!
