My 3rd 2-for-1 session in a row.  And more absolutely stunning eyes!  Mary & Rachael have been friends since elementary school, and they even work together at the same place.  Here’s a few of my faves from their session:

Weird weather evening! Allie & Melissa from Pembroke High drove through a rainstorm coming down Rt. 3 for their senior session.  It wasn’t raining yet at Scusset, and it was actually pretty nice but some ominous-looking clouds were on the horizon. The wind picked up a bit, and the sun kept peeking out from the cloud bank, then it got really dark – then the clouds moved away to give us a glimpse of the sun setting. Then it started raining just as we were finishing up.  Portrait sessions at the beach are always an adventure!

These two girls had such beautiful color eyes and the overcast skies actually bring the color out more than a sunny day does!

Here’s a few of my faves of Allie:allie_h_106allie_h_104

The sun was setting here, casting a beautiful glow …allie_h_123

And here’s Melissa!

I traveled to Justin’s family cottage in Popponesset for a 2-for-1 senior portrait session  with his friend Tadhg.  They all come from way up in Georgetown, MA but spend a lot of the summer at the Cape.  Despite Tropical Storm Bill passing offshore the night shore, the weather was beautiful.  The surf was still pretty high and I actually went into the water to get the angle I wanted and was hit by a huge wave that pretty much soaked my pants. Camera was OK, though!  And the water was surprisingly warm – though I’m used to the Scusset and Sagamore Beach water, where there’s always ice cubes floating in it.  ;)

So here’s a couple of my favorites of Justin:justin_c_111

Here’s the other half of the 2-for-1 session with Kelsey.  Colby has the most stunning blue eyes! The filtered sunlight brought them out perfectly. Here’s a sneak peak at Colby’s session:colby_k_112

I think her eyes were also reflecting back the blue sky here – I did nothing extra to give them this color!  But I LOVE it!colby_k_119

Kelsey & Colby, a couple of amazingly beautiful young ladies from Pembroke High School, came down for a 2-for-1 high school senior session last week, along with a couple more of their friends.  We did some fun group pictures, and got some senior pics in as well. :)    I photographed Kelsey’s sister, Abbey, last year.  Here’s a sneak peek for Kelsey:

Here’s Brielyn’s half of a 2-for-1 session I did with her cousin Ben from Sandwich High School. I also photographed Bri’s brother JT last year.  Bri is in the child-care program at South, and she’s also loves photography.  We had a beautiful evening at the beach with filtered sunlight.   Here’s some of my faves!  brielyn_v_101brielyn_v_110

Twins from Plymouth South

September 28, 2008

Here’s Ashley & Brittney from Plymouth – another set of twins I’ve photographed for senior portraits. Here’s a sneak peak of Ashley (she’s the oldest):

And of course I was able to take a few of them together:

Jess & Meri from Rockland

August 26, 2008

Jessica and Merielle came down from Rockland for their senior portraits. (Actually Jess came down – Merielle had been camping at Scusset for the week.) These two were a hoot! I was entertained just watching Jess getting her friend Meri to smile naturally. She used some um… unconvential methods. And that’s all I have to say about that! Here’s their sneak peek….

A Tale of Twins

August 20, 2008

Here’s Nikki & Matt – twins from Plymouth South. I didn’t see much at all that would indicate they were even related! Nikki just couldn’t stop smiling!
Matt….not so much. Typical high school senior guy.
Well with some help from Nikki and her friend, and some shameless begging and pleading from me, we got some smiles from Matt.
I did manage to get Nikki to stop smiling for a few, too… for something a little different.

I managed to get them both in the same frame for a few, too.
