I photographed Tim’s sister’s high school senior portraits a few years ago when they first moved to Bourne, so I was excited when when they called me again to do Tim’s portraits.  Luckily the weather held out – actually perfect lighting – I love the hazy sun!  Here’s a sneak peek of his images:

I thought his shoes were really cool, so here’s an ode to his favorite pastime – skateboarding:

Thanks Tim!

I’ve got the best job in the world.  I get to go to the beach almost every night in the summer, I get to photograph the BEST high school seniors around – and Sarah from Middleboro is no exception.  We had a gorgeous night at the beach – the lighting was perfect.  She’s an absolutely stunning young lady and I couldn’t take a bad picture of her if I tried!  Here is a sample of some of my favorites (well every single one of them were my favorites to tell you the truth!)sarahg_112sarahg_107sarahg_117sarahg_124sarahg_139Sarah has been a dancer from a long time – and like me, is a big fan of the TV show “So You Think You Can Dance”.  And as if this session couldn’t BE any better, as the sun was setting she danced on the Boardwalk.  I. Love. My. Job.

sarahg_148sarahg_152THANK YOU SARAH!  I hope you love your images as much as I do. :)

These siblings arranged a beach portrait of themselves at the beach where their summer home is located as a Mother’s Day gift.  So sweet!  This was the 3rd attempt at the session, as the first one was postponed because of fog (what’s a beach portrait if you can’t see the water??), the 2nd rained out – 3rd time’s the charm!  Despite the wind (when is it not windy at the beach?) we all had a great time and I captured some beautiful images of these gorgeous ‘kids’ as we roamed the beach and their neighborhood for some photogenic spots.  Here’s a sample:

I love when there’s clouds in the sky at sunset – such spectacular color!

Kinga (I love her name – it’s Polish) came down from Whitinsville to have her senior portraits at the beach.  She’s a self-professed ‘hippie – flower child’ and wants nothing but Peace for the world (and hopes to be a diplomat or UN ambassodor someday).   The sun struggled to come thru the overcast skies but the soft light made Kinga’s blue eyes stand out even more.   I knew it was going to be a great session when the first image in my camera was this one:kingab_101She has such beautiful expressions – when she’s smiling, and when she’s not.  Stunning!  Kinga – ANTM! no? ;)

I thought about making this one black & white, but then I decided I loved how her hair and eye color stood out:

kingab_140kingab_135Thanks so much Kinga (and her mom!) for coming all the way from Whitinsville! I loved photographing you and I can’t wait for you to see the rest of your pics!

Celebrate Sun!  The weather people say it’s supposed to be nice on Monday & Tuesday – and my calendar is clear!  Call me on Saturday or Sunday to book a high school senior portrait session for THIS Monday or Tuesday evening (July 13 or 14) and the session fee is $25 for a 30-minute BEACH portrait session!  Such a deal!

Only 2 sessions are available on each day – call early!

I ventured into America’s Hometown on the 4th to enjoy a beautiful display of fireworks over Plymouth Harbor. It was a beautiful night. I didn’t even mind parking a mile away and walking down to the harbor, and sitting in traffic for an hour afterwards. :)   Of course I brought my camera – here’s a few of my favorites:

Tiana came down to Scusset Beach all the way from Dracut on Monday- braving uncertain weather predictions – but it turned out to be a picture-perfect evening!  She’s off looking at colleges next week where she’s going to study Physical Therapy.
Here’s a sneak preview of the many images we created together.
