Now that the yearbook deadlines are close, the morning sessions are picking up. Here’s gorgeous Amanda who got up early (we started before sunrise!) on a Saturday morning for her session. She brought along her mom, boyfriend and her sister (who’ll be a senior next year). It was pretty windy at the beach….but the further away we got from the water, the calmer (and warmer!) it got.
Megan came all the way from Middleboro to Scusset Beach for her senior portaits. It was another fairly windy evening and the moon was still full.
Melissa also goes to South….This day I remember being very windy – AND it was a full moon – very cool!
Here’s Chris – he plays basketball and baseball at Plymouth South. We covered all of Scusset Beach – and ended up at the jetty along the canal at sunset. This was back when it was warm, btw…still catching up 
Tayla said she shopped at the Clothes Den in Sagamore Beach (in the Towne Paint Plaza) for her outfits. I haven’t had a chance to stop in yet – it just opened a few months ago – but she said the clothes are great there.
Another sunrise session. We actually found a dead shark on the beach. Ok, it was small – a fisherman probably caught it and left it there. Early mornings on the beach are definitely interesting. Stephanie caught her first sunrise, too:
I love the quality of the early morning light. It’s softer than the late afternoon light, not to mention the beach is nearly deserted so there’s nobody asking questions and walking into the background.
I think I’ll start doing them earlier in September next year….though it does mean getting up earlier. I’d love to do them in the summer, but you’d have to be at the beach at like 5AM…any takers for that in the Class of 2009?
Pat plays on the Plymouth South Football team. He was the first senior this year to do an early morning beach session. What a sport!
She goes to South, too. I need to say thanks to ALL of you at Plymouth South that I’ve photographed and have spread the word about me – it’s been so much fun and I appreciate it so much! Oh and it’s not over yet – still have about a dozen or so to go before the yearbook deadline!
